Strena The Voyage Part Two

Relieved Revelations “So what now?” Zaryb and Strena asked, wiping the last of their sleep out of their eyes. They all waited until they could focus their cloudy minds. They spotted Bash, Chashathrophogh and Cerpheres close their eyes. At first, Strena was afraid that they had fallen back to sleep. Yet when they opened their eyes, they looked relieved. “He’s still there.” Both Chashathrophogh and Bash sighed out of relief. “But it’s been a year! Why would he still be there?” Strena asked. “I don’t know. I guess we will find out when we get there.” He said, splashing his face with ice cold water. “Anyway!” Yawned Chashathrophogh. “We need to go!” So they all walked on, building their strength. Yet Strena, to her utter shock and confusion, noticed that Chashathrophogh looked cute when he yawned. She felt angry at herself for forgetting who he was, when she realized that. She, who did not like the fact that she was starting to notice the man had sternness to his handsome features. So...

Strena The Voyage Part One

A Time Lost 4th Thursday Foutmoon 516 Years After The 5th Age Of Legends  Sorry for the lack of updates over the past year as I could not put down what I had been through. After all, it was a year ago when we were attacked by Dark Lady Grasharlo. We all were put under one of the many sleeping spells out there. This caused Wolfox some discomfort, which was hilarious. Then we were separated in a cave in the Dreamworld we were trapped in. There I was tempted by the Dark Lady herself! I was shown Uncle Zaryb in chains, along with Bash and Chashathrophogh. She told me that if I killed them all then I would end my nightmare and finally return home. There, I would be safe. I did not believe her, of course, Uncle Zaryb has trained me better than that. Also, I do not think that after learning all that I have about Father, I do not think that I want my throne nor do I think that I will ever be safe. Also Mr Chashathrophogh still scares me even though I do like him. He seems more and mo...

Bounty Hunter Bash Sleep Lock Final Part

The Time Lost Bash woke up. She noticed that they were surrounded by overgrowth. She could feel that her clothes were all tighter. She felt the clothes around her chest were even tighter. She slowly pushed her body up and snapped several vines as she pushed the growth off her. She felt exhausted. Then she looked to the left and the right. She saw the others woke up. They looked at her and the one thing that she noticed was that Strena’s clothes were far too small for her too. She noticed the small curve at the chest. She noticed that Chashathrophogh and Zaryb were the same. Even though she and Strena showed signs of aging, they did not. The first thing that she did was sense where the location of Dark Lord Gajellidor Darcrogh was and he had not moved at all. “How long have we been asleep?” She asked. “Judging by your clothes and how much you have aged, I would say a year at least.” Then Zaryb looked at Strena with a shocked and pale face. “What?” Both girls asked. “That means that...

Bounty Hunter Bash Sleep Lock Part Seven

The Dream Avatar  Knowing that they did not have any other choice, they walked into a large room. The walls and floor were jet back. They looked up to see that there was no furniture. Then they heard a low growl. They looked behind them to see a gigantic panther with bright amber eyes. It looked at them and licked its lips. “Looks like you found me!” She said with a shrug. “Is that…Is that her dream avatar?” “Yes, yes it is!” “Alright, time to get this over and done with!” Bash summoned her bow and fired at her. She bit into the arrow and charged at her. She dived out of the way. Then Chashathrophogh tried to summon a ball of fire but could not! That Zaryb threw tiny daggers at her. She looked back, jumped up and pounced into him. This knocked him down.  She was about to open her mouth before Strena dug her swords into her. She raised her paw and threw it down. The next moment Strena flew across the room and collided with Chashathrophogh. Then returned to Zaryb. Then Bas...

Bounty Hunter Bash Sleep Lock Part Six

The Castle They arrived at the castle and the sun was going down. It was tall with black bricks and scarlet roof tiles. In the centre were a set of purple double doors. At either corner were a set of tall towers. In front was a green cobbled road with dry dead mud at both ends. The castle itself had red and green stained glass windows. “Do we knock?” “Why?” “To be polite!” Chashathrophogh let out a huff as they walked up to the front doors. Yet Bash spotted that Zaryb looked slightly sorrowful. “Are you alright?” “Yeah. It is that knowing the mom that I wake, Wolfox would be there in my head.” Cerpheres placed a hand on his head and pulled him close. “Don’t worry, if he came out I would love to see him in action!” “Get your hands off me!” “Make me!” He then just punched him in the face right there and then. He was about to punch him again until he caught it and licked the blood from the nose. “Goooood booooy! Now, when you wake, keep that attitude. Wolfox will like you more that w...

Bounty Hunter Bash Sleep Lock Part Five

The Dream Creatures They all walked away from the village. As they did they all looked at Strena, who was slightly taller than she was. Then to Zaryb, who looked less gloomy. In fact, he looked almost at peace. “So, why are we looking so at easy my dear beauty?” Cerpheres purred, as he draped an arm around him. Zaryb looked down and smiled. “I guess that this is the first time in years that I’ve not had Wolfox whispering in my ears. It is rather peaceful.” “Oh?” “Yes, and when I find something to get that thing out of you, you will enjoy more moments like this.” “But what if there aren’t anything that can do that?” “There is and I will find it.” He let out a bittersweet laugh. “Why do you never give up on me?” He rolled his eyes. “Do I really have to say?” “No. I guess not.” “Uncle Zaryb, once you’re free, what do you want to do?” He looked at her and his eyes narrowed. He looked at the far distance as he thought for a moment. He carried a deep frown as he looked puzzled. “Honestl...

Bounty Hunter Bash Sleep Lock Part Four

The Dream People  They walked into a village. The homes were made of stone with uneven glass windows with back doors. The roads were cobbled and there were no pavements. There were many men and women dressed in all black. Their faces were all pale as death with heavy bags underneath their dead eyes. They had no expressionless faces and went about their business like clockwork. They all looked around for anything that they could indicate that there was something off. Bash then walked up to one. “Hello.” “Why are you talking to them?” Asked Cerpheres. “They might have something to say.” He smiled and nodded. “Hello. You are real people, I see.” She said with an emotionless voice. “Yes.” “Then I am to give you this.” She said, giving her a map. “You are to travel to the Dream Castle. That is where her main Dream Avatar is, there it is waiting for you. That is if you can get there.” “And what do you mean by that?” That was when the rest of the village crowded around them. Then th...

Bounty Hunter Bash Sleep Lock Part Three

The Temptation  They all came to a cave. They looked left and right and saw that there was no end to the rock face. They looked up to see that there was no end at the top either. They looked at the mouth of the cave, with a sense of anger and dread. “Well? What are you waiting for? Get in there!” Wolfox growled. “But there’s no room for you!” Wolfox roared. “Yes, I know, girl! Clearly, Grasharlo does not want me interfering with this Dreamworld, or doing anything for that matter. So stop dawdling and get a move on!” Cerpheres chuckled. “Don’t like tight spaces, do we?” “Oh, don’t you dare start, boy!” Cerpheres chuckled and looked at him as if he was a cute animal. “Alright!” So the group walked in, leaving Wolfox behind. When they did, the first thing that Bash noticed was that the others had disappeared! The next thing that she noticed was her father standing in front of her in a room. In his arms was her baby brother. Her baby brother that she barely knew, the baby brother...

Bounty Hunter Bash Sleep Lock Part Two

Dreamworld  The first thing that Bash saw was the black void that she thought was the sky. She sat up slowly and saw the purple grass that looked like it was glowing. She looked around to see Strena was already awake and curled up. She looked at her wrists and spotted that her cuffs were missing. Then Zaryb appeared next to her to see that his cuff was missing too. Then she noticed Cerpheres and Chashathrophogh were looking at her. Her eyes dropped to his wrist to see that his cuff was missing too! “We’re in a dream, aren’t we?” “It appears so.” “What!” Exclaimed Strena, she curled up tighter as she looked down, timid. “Does she-” Cerpheres and Zaryb looked at each other and chuckled. They both placed a hand on her head and chuckled mischievously. Both had a cheeky look on their faces, which was strange to see on Zaryb’s face. Cerpheres looked strange, his eyes were amber and his hair was not emerald. “I wouldn’t worry about that, my dear.” “We both took care of that.” “How?”...

Bounty Hunter Bash Sleep Lock Part One

Grasharlo’s Spell  Bash looked at Strena as they traveled on. After being the target of so many people’s revenge, she must have been going through so much. She knew that the girl was a good fighter but she still needed motivation and guidance. She remembered what the strange voice had said. “Be a mother to her.” And now, she knew why. So she walked by the girl. “Do you think that you will be alright?” Strena looked down. “I don’t know. Tell me, do you think that I will ever be like Daddy, no, Dad?” “Given the right circumstances, yes. But I’m pretty certain that, here with us, you won’t.” She looked down and nodded. “It’s a bit like me and… Uncle Chashathrophogh. It seems that we are very much alike, to a point we sometimes say things at the same time. So I do have to wonder about that. After all, given the right circumstances, maybe I would have become someone like him .” She nodded, yet Bash knew that this did nothing to comfort her. So she placed an arm around her. Yet sh...

Strena The Vengeful Ones Final Part

The Power Of The Blades Strena sat by Cerpheres as he gave her a violin and bow. She placed the violin to her chin. “Not that way!” He sang as he corrected her posture. He then put the bow to the strings. “Now gently stroke the strings. If you do it too hard it’ll sound like you’re abusing a poor, poor cat!” She did but it still sounded like a screaming cat. The rest jumped and looked at them as he chuckled. “I told you to do it gently!” “I did!” She snapped. He chuckled as he wrapped himself around her and took hold of her hand. Then he gently guided it to stroke the strings with the correct gentleness. Soon it sounded something like a monotone tune. “Better. Now, do practice that!” He sang before kissing her cheek and letting go. She looked at the strings and practiced and practiced, even while they were walking, until she finally was able to get the hang of it. Even though she had the urge to put more pressure on the strings she resisted it. She kept this up all day until she g...

Strena The Vengeful Ones Part Five

The Scorned They soon set off the moment that Strena was ready to leave. Once they were on the move they were able to make a good amount of progress. They were able to get a good couple of miles in and that included food breaks. Once night fell, they were able to get some sleep. Yet Bash and Cerpheres stayed close to Strena. Mainly to help her get some sleep and stay asleep. The following day they were able to eat their breakfast. Strena, feeling slightly ill after the events of the day before, found it difficult to eat. However, out of fear of being force fed by Cerpheres, did her best to force as much food down her as she could. When it was in the middle of the morning, they approached a young man. He had green hair, blue eyes and, by his skin tone, was from Middeast. He wore long blue and red robes. He looked at Chashathrophogh, Zaryb and Cerpheres. He then closed his eyes as he took out a small silver fob watch from his pocket. “Who are you?” “Eahes Akumr of the Desert Planes....

Strena The Vengeful Ones Part Four

The Assassin The following day Strena looked down brooding as she looked at her reflection in the lake that they had set up camp next to. Looks like now that Grasharlo’s back from the dead, she’s been telling all those who hate dad who and even where I am. Guess that I am going to have to get used to the idea of being a target for the rest of my life. However long that is… She curled up as she let out a sigh before taking a sip of her tea. They were soon approached by a woman that she remembered from the assassin’s guild. “I know you!” She remarked. She looked at her and smiled, masking her dismay. “Yeah! It’s been ages! My you’ve grown! You were only seven when I last saw you! How’ve you been?” “Alright. You?” “Never been better! So you’re still stuck with gloomy Zarry, I see.” Zaryb huffed. “I am not gloomy! I just have a lot to deal with. By the way, do you have any booze?” “No. You’re staying sober!” “Just one!” “Of course! How did you know?” “You always have one on you!” “Ju...

Strena The Vengeful Ones Part Three

The Target Of Revenge  They had been walking for just over three hours straight when a gang approached them. They were made up of five members and they were all from the Desert Planes, which Strena could deduce by the colour of their skin. Yet there was something about their eyes that Strena did not like. They were cold and harsh. When they looked at her, she knew they saw dirt. “Can I help you?” Asked Chashathrophogh, caught off guard. Or, at least, pretend to be. The one at the front laughed sheepishly.  “Yes, well, as you can tell, we’re all from the Desert Planes. My name is Rafreekah and they are my friends, Arbah, Rih, Rie and Arkinahra. We are currently traveling through your country to explore it. Yet we all do not know the native tongue yet. Especially Arkinahra, she most awful at learning any kind of language that is not her native. So we was hoping, as two of you look like you are from the Desert Planes, you can help us the language here so we can enjoy our ho...

Strena The Vengeful Ones Part Two

The Inn Strena put her quill down. She took a quick glance at Chashathrophogh to see if he was still asleep. She let out a slight sigh of relief as she could. Then turned back at what she had just written and quickly used her magic to dry the ink before she put her journal away. Then she was about to smile. “Sooo, was that magic there?” Purred a voice that was far too close to her ear. She let out a squeak of a scream as she punched Cerpheres in his face. “What’s going on?” Chashathrophogh moaned. “N-nothing!” Cerpheres chuckled lyrically. “I just gave our little lady a scar, that’s all!” He sang. “Then stay away from her!” He pressed his lip up and looked at him like he was a cute animal. “I’m afraid not! After all,” He hugged her and rubbed her head like she was a dog. “Just like little dear you, she’s interesting too!” She started to push away slightly but he was too strong and grabbed both her shoulders and presented her like a trophy. “There is so much greatness hidden away ...

Strena The Vengeful Ones Part One

The Journal Entry 4th Thursday Jule  515 years after the 5th Age Of Legends For the past three days we have been traveling with Bash and Chashathrophogh and the strange man Cerpheres, we decided to go to Lillisea and travelled a far distance where we were forced to go into a giant labyrinth. There we were, tediously, tested and had to fight a minotaur, a fury, a manticor and, as bizarrely enough, strange demon bunnies. Honestly, where did she get that idea from. Yet, I would not have believed it as I was asleep for that last one. However, I can tell that Chashathrophogh is only the type to jest at the right moment and not about serious things such as this. Yet it was not just fighting that we had to do. We had, as I have written about, the tedious tests to do too. I don’t know what the others had but mine was to test my magical potential. See, when we were all separated, I walked on and on, Master/Uncle Zaryb had trained me better than to run. No, I had to conserve my energy ...

Bounty Hunter Bash Labyrinth Lock Final Part

Exit “Ehat does that mean?” Purred Cerpheres. He looked at him with a deathly anger. Suddenly Bash remembered the day that she met him. His eyes were just as cold and filled with the same kind of malice. Something told her that, whatever happened, had reawoken that very same evil. “Never ask that again!” He shrugged as they walked on and, as they did, he looked at Bash. His face relaxed. He smiled as the tension started to fade. “My dear niece. After all of this is over, I would like you to look into the bastards that I killed. Sure I did once want to kill you but…” Bash looked down and nodded. “I know, but do your best to keep your eye on what we are planning on doing, and don’t lose your focus my dear Uncle.” They turned a corner and that led to the exit. They looked down to see that there was nothing dead at the foot of the rosebushes. So they walked out and soon they were seeing a field of grass. “First thing’s first, we need sleep!” “Yeah! Sleep!” That was when they saw a bla...

Bounty Hunter Bash Labyrinth Lock Part Six

The Test They walked on and on and came to what looked like an opening. Only to be met by five single file rosebushes. “Shouod we go through there?” Then the rosebush behind them sealed completely shut. “Well looks like you have no answer!” Chashathrophogh said with a yawn. “Do you think that we’re getting to the end?” “I don’t know, but it seems like we’re at the end of one part.” “Do you think this is-” That was when the ends of the single rosebushes shot in between them all, causing them all to be divided.  Bash looked shocked as she looked at the bush. “Chashathrophogh?” “Master Zaryb!” “Here!” “Are you alright?” “Yes!” “I suppose that this is the part that we all have to do this all on our lonesome!” Moaned Cerpheres, dismayed. “Right, see you on the other end!” “And do please remember to take care of yourselves beauties!”  “I swear to Strena of the Hunt, I will punch you!” “Please do!” “We really need to stop doing that!” “Agreed!” She then walked on. She kept her ...
