There was once a King who loved his daughter and wanted to protect her. He did not want to restrict her either, so he took the best twig of his ivy in his most beautiful of gardens and turned it into a silver ring without a thorn upon it. He then placed a blessing upon it so that it would protect the one who wore it from evil. He then gave it to his young daughter. Then, one day she lost the ring to a thief. Angrily, she chased the man as his face scarred her mind. She only stopped when she was out of breath and he was far too far from the horizon. Yet she knew that the ring was now lost.
