Bounty Hunter Bash River Towns Lock Part One

 Battle For The Women

Bash looked out at the river as the swamp lands almost flew by. It had been over a month now and the only thing of note was the quests that they had all been on. So she was feeling slightly anxious. She wanted to get to Animéga already but they knew that they had to take the scenic route.

She soon arrived at the first town Wopay. It looked like the other swamp town but the people here had bright and light green skin and dark green eyes and hair. The women were all covered yet the men were barely wearing anything at all. All had dead sunken eyes. The women looked at her and Strena with dismay, jellacy and shame. The men looked at them with hunger and hope in their eyes.

They saw that it was night and they all were very tired and they could feel their bodies needed a break from the water. They all soon walked into a local inn and signed in.

“One night, five adults, one young adult.” Chashathrophogh said.

The innkeeper looked at Bash and then to Strena with the same look as the men.

“How old is she?”

“Thirteen, going on fourteen.”

“Actually, she will be fourteen in three or four month’s time.” Zaryb said.

Strena’s jaws dropped as the innkeeper flicked a smile at the side of his mouth. Then he looked at the other women in the room.

“You ladies can attend to the ladies. I will attend to the men.” He said as Cerpheres walked to the door.

“And where are you going?”

“Off to scout the town. After all, there are many people out there…You never know, there might be someone greater than you beauties!”

“I hope that you find them, you man. I may-”

At this he let out a chuckle.

“No thank you!” He sang as he stroked himself in the lower jaw. “After all, where would be the fun in that?”

He let a goofy and drunk expression rest on his face.

“Oh, how I loove the hunt!” He let out a giggle before he left.

Then he looked at the innkeeper.

“Do not ask what that was all about.”

“Oh, don’t worry. I won’t.”

Soon they arrived in their room. Then they smelt something strange in the air before falling instantly asleep.

They were all woken up by Cerpheres urinating.

“There, that’s better!” He sang as he looked back and dipped his finger in a bowl of water. He then looked back at the group as he dried his hands.

“What?”

He pointed to the fireplace with two of his fingers.

“That fireplace had a nasty sleeping incense. You won’t wake up until someone pees in it. See the acidic properties in the urine -”

Chashathrophogh and the other two men instantly came to their senses. Chashathrophogh suddenly felt weak and his abs Zaryb’s bracelets started to tug to the center of the town.

They all flipped out of their beds. They dived out of the windows and rolled as they landed. They ran as fast as they could. Soon Zaryb’s cruel face returned as he became faster and faster and faster. Soon they both felt like they were flying as they were being followed by Cerpheres.

“I’d be quick if I were you. Or they might just come out of this a little less innocent.”

“Shut it Cerpheres!”

“What would that be?”

He smiled slyly.

“The people here can’t leave. Yet they want their children to be able to.”

That was when they all stopped for a moment as they looked at him.

“What?”

“Hold on, did you know?” Snapped Chashathrophogh as he took him by his colourful collar.

“Yees, why?”

“Why didn’t you tell us earlier?”

“You were being mean to me!”

He rolled his eyes as he ran in and they soon arrived. The moment that they looked at the girls, they could see that they were not awake. They still had their clothes on. This brought a slight wave of relief. Yet they soon dived at the girls.

Only to feel something in the back of their heads. They looked back to see the men holding rocks and children holding some makeshift weapons.

“Look, just let us have this!”

“After all, you were able to stay in our inn.”

“This is the price of staying here!”

“Is that right?” He asked in a dangerous tone, taking a glance at Zaryb.

“Yes.”

Zaryb pulled out a tiny dagger and flung it at him. Then he shot Tim the left and then the right, throwing tiny dagger after tiny dagger. He moved on and at an inhuman speed as he cut down one after the other.

As he was doing this, Chashathrophogh fired fireball after fireball as he raced to them just as they were about to undo their trousers. One of them blinded the girls and pulled out a sword and loved their heads off. Soon he rebuckled their trousers just as one was about to reach him. He glanced back and slashed the moment that he swung at him and kicked him, hitting the one behind him. He swung his foot into his gut then swung his blade up and his head rolled down.

He then sent a flurry of ice at a group of the men and clicked his fingers and the ice cracked and flung at them. He picked the girls up and looked at Zaryb to see that he had already killed the majority of them. Soon they all ran out and reached the barge. They all set off before the townsfolk could even reach them.

Chashathrophogh looked at Cerpheres.

“Is there anything else that we need to know?”

“They won’t quit. They’ll try that again with another poor fool.”
