The Weather Incarnates Black Weather
Part Two
Black Cloud
Cloud was practising using his powers after he heard about Black
Snow, who's true name he could not remember. He knew that he needed
to keep his guard up while he trained. He was also waiting for his
twin, which was twenty minutes late. This caused him to become
concerned that one of Black Snow's siblings had got to him. His
concern grew as the sky grew darker and darker. It was not because it
was turning to night for it was in the middle of the day. This was
when he realized that it was not getting darker but he was surrounded
by fog, black fog!
He looked around behind him and it was all too clear to see that he
could not even see the cave! Then again he could not see a thing!
This told him everything that he needed to know as he called his
clouds around him but then he felt a knife strike him in the side. He
then felt another slash across his back and arms.
He let out a small cry of pain and knew that his and his brother's
years of bullying had toughened them up so the strikes were not as
painful for him like they would be with someone who wasn't used to
pain. The only problem here was the fact that he could not see
through Black Cloud's black fog and there for rendering him almost
incapable of defending himself. Then again, his fog was able to cloud
Black Cloud's vision so that was a plus. So this meant that they were
both fighting in the dark.
He then waited for the next strike and that was when he gripped the
wrist like a snake strike and pulled the hand close to him so that he
could see it. It was dark but slender and the nails were well groomed
and it was all too clear that this had belonged to a woman!
Conflicted he loosened his grip, which was a mistake as her other
hand almost slapped him in the gut. He felt himself fall back
slightly and he soon felt her on top of him and he felt a punch
across his face. Followed by another and another. He soon felt
something run down the corner of his mouth and the taste of iron in
his mouth.
He then heard the whiplash and he raised his hands and caught her
fist. He then used a small series of deductions to hit her in the gut
and then he felt her legs loosen and he then dragged her off him. He
then was able to deduce where her throat was and hit her where he
thought that it was but he must have misjudged for his fist collided
with the centre of her rib cage. He then hit her lower and then
followed it up with an upper punch and the back fog left and his fog
went too.
He looked at the girl in front of him, her beauty mercifully
untouched by the fighting. He picked her up and walked back to the
cave and as he did he met up with his twin with a girl in his arms
that was the mirror image of the girl in his hands. It was all too
clear that they were twins that had attacked them at the same time.
