Bounty Hunter Bash Labyrinth Lock Part Three

Dead End They came to a corridor of rosebushes. Bash attached an arrow to her ankle vertically to help mark where they had been. This way, if they came to a dead end, they would be able to retract their steps and go another way. They then came to a crossroads. “Which way?” “Well, not on. After all, that would be far too obvious.” “So that should be where we go.” Strena said, pointing to the right. “No. I think we should go left.” “Why?” Strena looked at Zaryb. “She favours the left. Even though she is right handed.” Cerpheres draped his arm around his shoulder. “And you know that because?” His face became blue as his cheeks became red. Yet his face looked like he was about to throw up. “Don’t ask.” Then Wolfox appeared in his face. “Well, it turns out Grasharlo has certain..” His eyes slid to Strena and back to him then he looked back at Chashathrophogh. “ Needs and Zaryb just so happens to be her type and she would never let him refuse her. I just loved hearing him cry every mo...

Bounty Hunter Bash Labyrinth Lock Part Two

The New Labyrinth  “Well, this is a turn!” “Shut it!” “When did this get here? I don’t remember this being here on the way here or on the maps.” “I know!” Cerpheres sighed as he leaned in close to his ear. “Wanna check it out?” “Urm, get away from me!” He pouted and shrugged. “Well are you?” “No time. We have to make a way around this labyrinth.” Chashathrophogh explained as he walked to the side. “But it could be fun!” “I don’t care!” “Spoil sport!” He moaned. He rolled his eyes and they walked to the furthest corner of the labyrinth only to be pulled back by Cerpheres. “Cer-” He pointed down and he looked down to see a line of dead mice, rats and cattle of all kinds on the other end. Strena was about to walk on and Chashathrophogh grabbed her by the back and pulled her away. She let out a gasp as she saw all the dead animals. “Not that way.” “Why?” “This is Grasharlo’s spell. One of her signature spells whenever she wants to trap someone.” “W-what?” “What does this mean?” C...

Bounty Hunter Bash Labyrinth Lock Part One

Journey To The Field The group was traveling, Bash took a glance at Strena. She was still pale and probably still weak too, yet she was stronger. She could tell that she was scared too. She took glances at Chashathrophogh and Cerpheres, almost as if she was on the verge of panicking. Bash wondered why, for a moment, then she remembered that she was a Dark Lady and how she looked at Chashathrophogh, almost as if he was going to kill her on the spot. This girl must have been born out of weddlock! Now, if that’s the case, would he kill her? She could not quite place why, as there was too much evidence on the contrary, she did not think so. “So, where are we heading?” Bash asked. “To find Gajellidor. The spell that we cast is telling us that he is currently still heading to the Desert Planes.”  “Then why did we not take a ship back in Roqaur?” “The geography of the sea and the position of Roqaur would not permit that. After all, the seas would be much too narrow or shallow or roc...

Strena Acceptance Final Part

Daughter Of A Tyrant  Strena woke up early to the scent of blood. She looked down to see Cerpheres, chopping up a rabbit. She rose to her feet, the events of the night were still fresh in her mind. “What are you doing?” She asked in a dry voice as she walked over to him, the tips of her fingers rested on her blades. “Cooking breakfast!”  “Can I help?” He smiled. “You’re feeling brave!” “Nothing to fear.” He chuckled as he smiled to himself. “Sure. You can help.” He sang as he handed her a group of vegetables. “Cut those up will you?” She took out a knife and started chopping. “Try getting them smaller dear.” She nodded as she did. He then returned to chopping the rabbit. “Mr Cerpheres, could you tell me more about him?” “Who dear?” “My father, Emperor Nazon Zuvé.” He let out a high pitched sigh. She jumped slightly. “Well, I heard he was a great man!” “He was evil.” “Greatness has nothing to do with morality.” “Oh.” “Well, he was known to be a great warlord. In fact, he ...

Strena Acceptance Part Four

A Bid For Revenge  Syrena looked down as she stared at her reward. She put the coins away as she just could not get all that she heard out of her head. She remembered all the times that she killed and tortured. Her eyes slid to her hands, knowing that they were red with blood. She remembered all that dress Dark Lady Grasharlo brought out of her. She remembered all the torture that she had put her uncle through. She remembered how she killed Grasharlo before she came back. She then remembered how she liked the dark joy that she had while she tortured him. Then her mind flooded with all she had learnt and heard about her father. It seemed the more she heard the more evil he seemed. She did not like it but the more she heard and saw the more it became difficult to deny it. Yet she did not want to admit it either. Yet she felt scared. Scared that she would end up like that. Scared that the moment that she took the throne that she took would become a tyrant. That sje too would see...

Strena Acceptance Part Three

A Truth That Scars They soon came to a town. Strena and Bash looked at the local bounty hunters tavern. “Do we have enough to get to the Desert Planes?” She asked. “So the little princess can speak on her own!” “Shut up!” “Well, do we?” Strena asked, keeping on track. “No. We probably need at least four emeralds and rubies.” Chashathrophogh admitted. “Then I’ll get a bounty and we’ll split the royalties.” “Good thinking Arielsa!” “Strena.” Zaryb and Strena corrected. “Right.” “Also, Bash, go with her. That way she would pick a good job that she can do.” “But don’t underestimate her.” Bash nodded as the girls walked in. She looked at the board. Strena soon picked one and showed it to Bash and she looked down. Herra Of Hogworth 100 Emeralds & 7 Rubies Herra of Hogworth has taken over Herraldt three days ago. Despite our best efforts we could not take him down. So please, free us! Issued 7th Friday Dec 514 Years After The 5th Age Of Legends  “That was the beginning of last m...

Strena Acceptance Part Two

A Secret That Must Be Kept Strena woke from a nightmare the first thing her eyes dropped to was the cuff before putting her diary away. She then looked up to Chashathrophogh, hoping that he did not read it. She knew that the moment that he found out what she was she would be dead. She looked to the side to her Uncle Zaryb. She hoped that he would keep quiet yet, as she did not know Wolfox, she could not be quite certain he would.  They soon woke up and Cerpheres gave her a delicious stew. In fact she had never tasted a stew so good. They all ate slowly before they marched on. As they did, Strena walked closer to Zaryb than the rest. Yet Cerpheres walked up to her and put an arm around her, making her jump slightly. “Are you alright little beauty?” “Urm…yeah. Why?” “It’s just you seem to have a lot on your plate. Wanna share?” He purred. “No.” “Come on! Are you really going to say that in that way?” Yes. “You need to look stronger than that!” “And if I did want to share, you’l...

Strena Acceptance Part One

A Cuff That Binds 1st Monday Jule  515 years after the 5th Age Of Legends Me and Master Zaryb arrived at Roqaur on Saturday safely. Yet we met up with Touchable Bash who is also the Exile Princess Drew Of Beforebow, daughter of Queen Shedrey and her husband that was assassinated over five months ago along with her baby brother. Also and none other than Chashathrophogh the Bastard Killer and older Bastard brother of Queen Shedrey which makes him Bash’s uncle. As it turns out Master Zaryb are not only friends, it seems that they are best friends. Which I found unexpected as I did not expect him to have friends. Also we wet a creepy man called Cerpheres, which keeps looking at me in a way that is uncomfortable to me. Almost like prey in front of a predator. However I know better than to allow myself to show my vulnerability. Master Zaryb has trained me better than that. Yet I can sense, despite this, he seems to be a fun guy to be around. We went to a pub there where I found out...

Doormaze Drage A World Of Truth Final Part

Lie Despite having the piece of the Reality Sphere, they stayed there for three whole weeks as they recovered. This gave Doormaze plenty of time to think as she found herself in the castle library, reading book after book. She absorbed all that she could there as she knew that she could not stay anywhere near Coalmine or Burn as she knew that the decision to be made had to be hers and hers alone. She wondered what to do about Coalmine as she did. At first, she could not think past her rage at what she had done while they were traveling together. But, as she became desensitized to it, she seemed to start to think calmly. It was strange to her the moment that she did have the first clear thought. However, part of her still felt that anger and the calm and anger flickered like the flame of a candle. This happened through the second week. Then in the third week it was put out and she was able to meditate on the decision completely calm and completely clear. There was no anger in th...

Doormaze Drage A World Of Truth Part Eight

The Final Round  Ahead of him was Doormaze Drage. Just make him tired. Then you can beat him. “Now the third has returned.” Quickly she threw water at him. He stopped it. She threw some misshapen water balls at him in rapid succession. She ran on and on as he blocked each and every one of them. Then she fired more and more water balls at him as she ran and ran. He blocked each and every one of them.  Then she noticed the weapons on the floor and in the walls. She dived to one wall, plucked one and threw it at him. She did this again and again and again. He stopped each and every one of them. She dived to the next wall and threw the weapons at him again and again and again before diving to the next wall as he stopped those weapons. Then he did this to the last wall and he stopped those. Then, her gut told her to stay. She looked up as the weapons rose and they fired at her. She dodged behind the remnants of one of the pillars. That was when she saw the blades and spiked b...
