The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Final Part

Dragon Bone Island Pendragon was already dead before he crashed into the deep. His head was fully on fire and his brain was ash. Yet his body was not fully covered by water as it was the size of a continent. This caused the water to spread out leading to tsunamis throughout the nearest lands. This caused the shorelines to be permanently changed and the towns and villages to be devastated.  The waves fell back upon the dragon corpse. Soon the blood spread throughout the ocean and seabed. This attracted the sharks nearby. Which ate away at the wings and the sections of the body that lay beneath the waves.  Yet the rest remained above the water. This attracted the birds of the air, which ate away at the belly and the flesh in the talons. This attracted more and more types of marine and flying animals that continued to eat away at more and more of the dragon. Yet, as time wore on, the remains swelled up and discoloured. This sent a foul stench throughout the lands that the w...

The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Twenty-Nine

The Fall Of The Dragon King  The first thing she did was slide down to the head to get to the left eye. There she stopped at the eyelid. She tried not to pay attention to the storm clouds below them as she caught a glimpse of the volcanos where she fought the fire dragon poke out like a spider’s bite. She knew that she did not want to fall here. Yet this meant that she could not afford to drop for one moment.  She had to ignore the itching in her back. However she could feel her body shaking uncontrollably. She started to breathe in and out rapidly. Her stomach churned painfully. She was suddenly afraid that she was going to throw up and lose her grip and fall. She bit her lip as she could feel ice in her racing heart. Yet she had to look down at the eye for a moment. Then she saw the dragon palm coming at her. She quickly dived down and in as the eye closed. Darkness eclipsed her as she was smashed between the inner eyelid and the eyeball, but she knew that she could no...

The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Twenty-Eight

The Battle In The Sky The first thing that Loc did was send a blast of fire at the gap between the talons and knuckle. She then spread it out and kept it up until the one talon in her side fell. She immediately slid out of the other talon and fell. She reached out her hand and pulled herself on top of the talon. She then looked up at where the head was. Only to see it staring at her. She had milliseconds to stop the fire. Then he coughed and coughed and coughed before the fire came out. At this, she let out a breath of relief as she climbed on and on and on daring not to look down. She knew that the moment that she did, the battle would be over. So she charged on and on and on and dived onto the knuckles then on to the upper wrist. She could feel her body was as cold as ice and she felt like there were invisible claws scratching at her chest. Yet she pushed herself on and on and on.  Then she saw the wounds of the battlefield so she drove the fire into them all. Then Pendrago...

The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Twenty-Seven

Getting Out Of The Dragon  When she woke up next she felt something brush the back of her hand. She quickly grabbed it and it took all that she had to pull herself up and she climbed and climbed then stabbed the stomach lining. She groaned and she pushed herself up further and sat on the handle.  She felt utterly exhausted. She panted as she felt hungry and yet robbed of something internal. She felt cold and her head felt light. She felt her eyelids drop and there she slept heavily. It was a sleep that she knew that could not be denied. It was a sleep that her body craved. One that her mind needed as tears fell at the mere thought of those that she had led to their deaths. When she woke up, she wondered if she stayed there, would her whole body be digested? Would that lead to her death or would she stay there, her soul pinned to her ever dissolving bones? And once her bones were dissolved, would her soul follow Pendragon’s digestive system until she came out the other en...

The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Twenty-Six

Inside The Dragon Loc fell down the esophagus and gained speed until her body slapped into the stomach acid. Suddenly she felt the burning all around her. Yet she looked up to see the whole stomach was like a large glowing lake. She could see that there were corpses of all the men all around her. Yet she could not even count just how many there were in the dim light. She lit a ball of fire to get a good look around to see the dead and half digested face of Kai. At this she let out a scream. Then, as she looked on, she saw more and more dead bodies that were just alive a moment ago. She also noticed that there were more and more dead bodies and some skeletons too! All around her and some sank beneath the clear stomach acid. Yet there was one deep beneath her that caught her eye. It was one coated in black armour that she had not seen before in this world. However she had seen material like that back in her world! It was black dragon scale armour. She could tell by the pattern and ...

The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Twenty-Five

The Ground Battle He dived on and looked beside her. She pulled out Rock and Stone and hit the side of the tallon that was the size of a house! This did nothing. She did it again and again and again but it did nothing. She then raced, along with several men, climbed on them and hit the tallon again and again and again and then it cracked. Then the paw was raised up and slammed down. They all collapsed on the ground. Then she saw the blast coming. She pushed it on as far as she could as the men all raced on. They were back on the talons. Then they all raced on and on and went to stab the back of the hand again and again and again. Yet he did not even let out a grunt, no, he just looked at the group with nothing but annoyance as they stabbed away at it. Only to be raised again then some raced up again and ran as fast as they could to the ankles. Then they dug their blades into the scales as he slammed the claw down.  They then pulled out their blades and went to slice the ankle...

The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Twenty-Four

The Dragon King Lands They were able to get out of the stone tunnels and found out that it led to the middle of an open field with a layer of runes that were once a castle of old which was on the side of a mountain. Loc would have looked around with a gaping mouth if she knew that this was not the time for sight seeing. So they descended the ancient stone stairs and at the foot of a large and open field. She looked around for the pools and spotted that they were ahead. She soon set them all alight.  At this she could not help but feel a sense of satisfaction as she knew that, as Paradtopia was dead, Pendragon could no longer make any soldiers and with no more soldiers there would be no more armies. She let herself smile then cleaned herself and her clothes. The rest of the men and eagles did the same. Once they were all clothed and cleaned she saw a tiny shape in the sky. Yet as she looked at it, she saw that it was getting closer and closer and closer. Soon it blocked out th...

The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Twenty-Three

The Final General They soon were able to come to another set of stairs. They all walked up to another set of double doors. They walked on and the doors opened to where Basilisk was. They all looked back for a moment then looked on. They let out a deep breath. Now was the time to take out the last general. Once this one was taken out then it would be the last dragon. This would mean that all the people of this world would be free from the fear and terror of the dragons and would be able to sleep safe and sound, knowing that the morning will bring a new world and a new way of life. Some men could feel excitement run throughout them. Some wondered what they would do after this and with their new found freedom. Some dreamed of marrying that woman they wanted. Others, finally confessing their love to her. Others just wanted to see their wives and enjoy her comfort by a cozy and warm fire and rest in her arms. Wrapped by her love and kindness. With a tender intimacy that only married co...

The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Twenty-Two

Oroch Once they had eaten and rested and attended to the wounded. Those that could moved on. They came to a set of stone stairs leading up. Seeing that there was no other way, they all walked up the stairs with their guards up. They all kept their eyes trained upon the darkness ahead. They soon came to a group of stones and they had to move them out of the way which made the staircase lighter. Then they walked on and saw more and moved them out of the way, yet all of them were able to keep their guards up.  Loc, in particular, kept her guard up the most as she did not want to be eaten again. She also noticed that she smelt. Yet she pushed past the scent and made sure she went on and on and on. Soon they came to a set of double doors with the same lion on them. The moment that they arrived at the set, they opened. They all looked at each other and then looked ahead of them. Ahead of them was a sleeping hydra the size of a five floored mansion with thirteen heads! The moment th...

The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Twenty-One

Kuromaru It was in the morning two days after the final army’s fall when they arrived at a set of double doors. Both doors had twin tailed lions standing rampant. Lions, that Loc could swear, could see her and cheering her on, along with the army. She could almost feel their pride at how far she had come over the past year, since she came to this world. It was like their courage was oozing out and entering each and every one of them. Upon coming to the front of the doors, they opened. She walked in and spotted the glowing green water running parallel to each other at the sides of the cave-like structure. This illuminated the whole tunnel with a good but dim light. They kept their eyes trained on the centre where it was the most dark. They all stayed there a while out of caution. Upon seeing that there was nothing coming out the heads and Loc looked at each other. “So, do we walk in?” “As it is obvious that Kuromaru isn’t coming out, it seems that we don’t have a choice.” “What’s t...
