Strena The Vengeful Ones Part Two

The Inn Strena put her quill down. She took a quick glance at Chashathrophogh to see if he was still asleep. She let out a slight sigh of relief as she could. Then turned back at what she had just written and quickly used her magic to dry the ink before she put her journal away. Then she was about to smile. “Sooo, was that magic there?” Purred a voice that was far too close to her ear. She let out a squeak of a scream as she punched Cerpheres in his face. “What’s going on?” Chashathrophogh moaned. “N-nothing!” Cerpheres chuckled lyrically. “I just gave our little lady a scar, that’s all!” He sang. “Then stay away from her!” He pressed his lip up and looked at him like he was a cute animal. “I’m afraid not! After all,” He hugged her and rubbed her head like she was a dog. “Just like little dear you, she’s interesting too!” She started to push away slightly but he was too strong and grabbed both her shoulders and presented her like a trophy. “There is so much greatness hidden away ...

Strena The Vengeful Ones Part One

The Journal Entry 4th Thursday Jule  515 years after the 5th Age Of Legends For the past three days we have been traveling with Bash and Chashathrophogh and the strange man Cerpheres, we decided to go to Lillisea and travelled a far distance where we were forced to go into a giant labyrinth. There we were, tediously, tested and had to fight a minotaur, a fury, a manticor and, as bizarrely enough, strange demon bunnies. Honestly, where did she get that idea from. Yet, I would not have believed it as I was asleep for that last one. However, I can tell that Chashathrophogh is only the type to jest at the right moment and not about serious things such as this. Yet it was not just fighting that we had to do. We had, as I have written about, the tedious tests to do too. I don’t know what the others had but mine was to test my magical potential. See, when we were all separated, I walked on and on, Master/Uncle Zaryb had trained me better than to run. No, I had to conserve my energy ...

Bounty Hunter Bash Labyrinth Lock Final Part

Exit “Ehat does that mean?” Purred Cerpheres. He looked at him with a deathly anger. Suddenly Bash remembered the day that she met him. His eyes were just as cold and filled with the same kind of malice. Something told her that, whatever happened, had reawoken that very same evil. “Never ask that again!” He shrugged as they walked on and, as they did, he looked at Bash. His face relaxed. He smiled as the tension started to fade. “My dear niece. After all of this is over, I would like you to look into the bastards that I killed. Sure I did once want to kill you but…” Bash looked down and nodded. “I know, but do your best to keep your eye on what we are planning on doing, and don’t lose your focus my dear Uncle.” They turned a corner and that led to the exit. They looked down to see that there was nothing dead at the foot of the rosebushes. So they walked out and soon they were seeing a field of grass. “First thing’s first, we need sleep!” “Yeah! Sleep!” That was when they saw a bla...

Bounty Hunter Bash Labyrinth Lock Part Six

The Test They walked on and on and came to what looked like an opening. Only to be met by five single file rosebushes. “Shouod we go through there?” Then the rosebush behind them sealed completely shut. “Well looks like you have no answer!” Chashathrophogh said with a yawn. “Do you think that we’re getting to the end?” “I don’t know, but it seems like we’re at the end of one part.” “Do you think this is-” That was when the ends of the single rosebushes shot in between them all, causing them all to be divided.  Bash looked shocked as she looked at the bush. “Chashathrophogh?” “Master Zaryb!” “Here!” “Are you alright?” “Yes!” “I suppose that this is the part that we all have to do this all on our lonesome!” Moaned Cerpheres, dismayed. “Right, see you on the other end!” “And do please remember to take care of yourselves beauties!”  “I swear to Strena of the Hunt, I will punch you!” “Please do!” “We really need to stop doing that!” “Agreed!” She then walked on. She kept her ...

Bounty Hunter Bash Labyrinth Lock Part Five

The Mind Battle  They walked on. The only one that seemed refreshed was Strena, yet the others were feeling the tiredness of the all nighter of fights. Bash yawned the most as they walked on. She soon spotted a woman ahead of her. She was dressed in all black. As she came closer she recognizes the woman as her mother! “What are you doing here?” She asked as her mind rushed, trying to find the answer. Then her mother dived at her. She fell to the ground and then she felt her arm around her throat! She looked up at her in horror. She looked up at her mother’s eyes. She saw that they were empty and there was a hollowness about them. Almost like she was looking into a doll’s glass eyes. Yet she had no time to think or chance to address that as she could feel her hand crushing her throat! Then she heard Strena scream. She looked to the side of her. She had her arms out and seemed to be struggling against an invisible foe. Her eyes were filled with fear and questions. “Mummy? Dad...

Bounty Hunter Bash Labyrinth Lock Part Four

Night In The Labyrinth  They walked on and on making sure that each step was marked and made carefully. They had even started peek down every turn to make sure it did not lead to a dead end. Yet as each hour went by, the day became darker and darker. Then they started to hear the hoot of an owl along with other creatures of the night. Soon it was night and all of them felt tired and weary. They needed sleep so they set up camp once they could no longer resist the urge to sleep. Yet for some reason Bash had a bad feeling about this. She looked to Chashathrophogh. It was all too clear that he had one too. So she lay down to rest, as she was far too sleepy to heed the warning of her gut. So they were all about to go to sleep when they heard a high pitched cry. Their eyes opened as they saw a bird-like creature dive down. Yet, upon a closer inspection, the bird had the form of a woman with reddish purple hair and golden eyes. She had a red robe on with a golden broach. The clothe...

Bounty Hunter Bash Labyrinth Lock Part Three

Dead End They came to a corridor of rosebushes. Bash attached an arrow to her ankle vertically to help mark where they had been. This way, if they came to a dead end, they would be able to retract their steps and go another way. They then came to a crossroads. “Which way?” “Well, not on. After all, that would be far too obvious.” “So that should be where we go.” Strena said, pointing to the right. “No. I think we should go left.” “Why?” Strena looked at Zaryb. “She favours the left. Even though she is right handed.” Cerpheres draped his arm around his shoulder. “And you know that because?” His face became blue as his cheeks became red. Yet his face looked like he was about to throw up. “Don’t ask.” Then Wolfox appeared in his face. “Well, it turns out Grasharlo has certain..” His eyes slid to Strena and back to him then he looked back at Chashathrophogh. “ Needs and Zaryb just so happens to be her type and she would never let him refuse her. I just loved hearing him cry every mo...

Bounty Hunter Bash Labyrinth Lock Part Two

The New Labyrinth  “Well, this is a turn!” “Shut it!” “When did this get here? I don’t remember this being here on the way here or on the maps.” “I know!” Cerpheres sighed as he leaned in close to his ear. “Wanna check it out?” “Urm, get away from me!” He pouted and shrugged. “Well are you?” “No time. We have to make a way around this labyrinth.” Chashathrophogh explained as he walked to the side. “But it could be fun!” “I don’t care!” “Spoil sport!” He moaned. He rolled his eyes and they walked to the furthest corner of the labyrinth only to be pulled back by Cerpheres. “Cer-” He pointed down and he looked down to see a line of dead mice, rats and cattle of all kinds on the other end. Strena was about to walk on and Chashathrophogh grabbed her by the back and pulled her away. She let out a gasp as she saw all the dead animals. “Not that way.” “Why?” “This is Grasharlo’s spell. One of her signature spells whenever she wants to trap someone.” “W-what?” “What does this mean?” C...

Bounty Hunter Bash Labyrinth Lock Part One

Journey To The Field The group was traveling, Bash took a glance at Strena. She was still pale and probably still weak too, yet she was stronger. She could tell that she was scared too. She took glances at Chashathrophogh and Cerpheres, almost as if she was on the verge of panicking. Bash wondered why, for a moment, then she remembered that she was a Dark Lady and how she looked at Chashathrophogh, almost as if he was going to kill her on the spot. This girl must have been born out of weddlock! Now, if that’s the case, would he kill her? She could not quite place why, as there was too much evidence on the contrary, she did not think so. “So, where are we heading?” Bash asked. “To find Gajellidor. The spell that we cast is telling us that he is currently still heading to the Desert Planes.”  “Then why did we not take a ship back in Roqaur?” “The geography of the sea and the position of Roqaur would not permit that. After all, the seas would be much too narrow or shallow or roc...

Strena Acceptance Final Part

Daughter Of A Tyrant  Strena woke up early to the scent of blood. She looked down to see Cerpheres, chopping up a rabbit. She rose to her feet, the events of the night were still fresh in her mind. “What are you doing?” She asked in a dry voice as she walked over to him, the tips of her fingers rested on her blades. “Cooking breakfast!”  “Can I help?” He smiled. “You’re feeling brave!” “Nothing to fear.” He chuckled as he smiled to himself. “Sure. You can help.” He sang as he handed her a group of vegetables. “Cut those up will you?” She took out a knife and started chopping. “Try getting them smaller dear.” She nodded as she did. He then returned to chopping the rabbit. “Mr Cerpheres, could you tell me more about him?” “Who dear?” “My father, Emperor Nazon ZuvĂ©.” He let out a high pitched sigh. She jumped slightly. “Well, I heard he was a great man!” “He was evil.” “Greatness has nothing to do with morality.” “Oh.” “Well, he was known to be a great warlord. In fact, he ...
