Bounty Hunter Bash River Towns Lock Part Five

 Back On The Water Bash, Chashathrophogh, Strena, Cerpheres, Zaryb and Leonardo all looked at the water. All of them were painting the scenery as Leonardo wanted to teach them how to paint well. Bash noticed, as she painted, there were greyish green rocks ahead. She put her painting down as she looked over to Chashathrophogh. He too saw them, with a shock but a look of a hunter. He took a glance at her and back at the rocks. “All of you, get ready for a fight.” She nodded as she quickly dried her paint along with everyone else. Soon the rest followed her lead.  Attack It had been the following night when they all looked up at the clear night sky. They were feeling well rested and were ready to leave town. They faxed at the stars in the sky as the colourful gas clouds as they moved in the sky and their colours changed as they passed. That was when Bash saw the line in the sky. Yet it came closer and closer. Soon they could see the scales on it’s body and the full main of fur swaying in the air like a snake in the sky. It came closer and closer and closer. She soon saw the pair of turquoise eyes and the flame shaped fur at the tip of it’s tail. Then the tiny legs with five claws. It then arrived at the village.  The First Town They arrived at the first town away from the swamp. It was good to smell the fresh air. Bash looked at the huts and buildings that looked like large sheds. The men and women had dark skin and narrow eyes that were blank or brown. Yet, as they rowed on, they saw that the buildings were tightly stacked together and others were on top one another like different buildings built on top of the lower floor. The bridges were made of wood and a strong straw-like material. “They’re made of wood and bamboo.” “Bamboo?” He smiled and nodded. “Bamboo.” She nodded as she looked at the paintings of interesting artwork.  Battle For The Women Bash looked out at the river as the swamp lands almost flew by. It had been over a month now and the only thing of note was the quests that they had all been on. So she was feeling slightly anxious. She wanted to get to Animéga already but they knew that they had to take the scenic route. She soon arrived at the first town Wopay. It looked like the other swamp town but the people here had bright and light green skin and dark green eyes and hair. The women were all covered yet the men were barely wearing anything at all. All had dead sunken eyes. The women looked at her and Strena with dismay, jellacy and shame. The men looked at them with hunger and hope in their eyes.  The Swamp Town It had been three days since they left the dwarf mine when they arrived at a swamp. They walked down a path and soon came to a town made of wooden and clay huts and buildings with straw rooms all without windows. The people walked to and fro, all of them pale and hollow eyes and dangerously thin.  The Quest On The Road They were all walking on the road, they had been for a long time and at a fast pace. They had all found out that they had lost time and Bash, Chashathrophogh and Cerpheres could feel that Dark Lord Gajellidor Darcrogh and Dark Lady Grasharlo were on the move in Animéga. So they all knew that they had to move faster to make up for the lost time. Yet, as they did, they saw a quest signpost. Strena caught a glimpse of quests one of which caught her eye.  The Official License  Strena and the rest were walking for hours and hours until the sun had come down when they arrived at a modest building. It had two floors and was painted in purple and gold. It had a small set of double doors. Chashathrophogh looked up and around the building as Strena looked at the windows. She noticed that there were some that were bricked up but others were not. She looked up at the upper window and looked at the bottom ones. At the top was one rectangle horizontally, one square, another rectangle. There was a diamond after.  The Painting They all looked up at a large box. It was jet black, just like the rest of the walls of the chamber, almost like it was made of black glass and the whole room was littered by those glowing mushrooms.
