Scar The Journey Home Part Four

The Kingdom Of   The Future Past The moment that they arrived at the next kingdom, they all got strange looks, especially Scar. Yet as they walked on she spotted a book. On it was a painting of someone that looked exactly like her just with white eyes and another that had crimson. “Mrs Smith?” Morana narrows her eyes. “Yeah?” “Did you even come here as a child?” “No. Why?” “Then who’s that then?” She asked, pointing to the books. “Bounty Hunters Bash and Cari.” Spoke a man in a black trench coat. “You know, you look like the one named Scar, just younger.” At this she frowned as she felt a ripple run throughout her. “‘S-scar’?” “Yeah. She traveled with them for a while but, for Cari, she disappeared for a bit. Then turned up, out of the blue with a group of others.” “Oh.” She spoke with a deep frown. Hold on. Is-is that me? No. It can’t be! It must be some other Scar that just so happens to look like me. “Is that why I have people after me?” She asked out loud. “It is.” H...

Scar The Journey Home Part Three

The News It was late in the evening when they reached the border, a place that would have taken them two days if they did not have Snow and Raven. Yet they came to a small and quaint town and came to the most unassuming inn. “One night, two rooms one of which is a family room along with dinner and breakfast.” “Sorri, o’ly famili room available, m’ ‘fraid!” The innkeeper said before pressing a dirty handkerchief to his nose and sneezed. “That’s alright. We will take it.” “Oh, and you can come in one of our beds!” “It’ll be like a sleepover!” “Oh this is gonna be fun!” “Yeah, we’ll have a pillow fight and-” “Easy now. We’ve had a long day. Food first and then sleep.” “And no pillow fights! We’re not here on holiday. We’re just staying for the night.” “Spoil sport!” “No fair!” At this Morana groaned. “Maybe one fight when we’re back home. But not tonight.” “Promise?” “Fi e!” At this Scar looked away as her eyes lit up at the prospect of having a girly night. Yet suddenly she felt fea...

Scar The Journey Home Part Two

The Quest They were brought before a king dressed in pale gold and pale yellow, almost white. The hall was long and tall which was decorated with the same colours that the king was wearing. “Who are you?” Asked Morana. “What do you want with us?” Snapped Detective Smith. “I am King Angus. I hear that your are not from my kingdom. Is this true?” “It is. And?” Replied Scar. “I would teach your daughter to speak when spoken to.”  “She’s not my daughter.” At this King Angus raised his eyebrow as Detective Smith looked at Scar and Morana with narrowed eyes. “So what is this all about?” “I need a group of people that are not of this kingdom.” “No. We’re just passing through.” He nodded. “Then do what I say and I will pay you with two horses and a carriage. “But how will they help in our world?” Britannia asked. “So, the legend of Johan Close is true…How interesting.” “What?” He cleared his throat. “You are to go to the cave of the old kings. There you are to get an olive opal. It w...

Scar The Journey Home Part One

Location Of The Door They all attended to the wounds and set all of the other prisoners of the Scarborough Witches free. The next thing that they did was release all the animals that they had for who knows what. After they raided the storerooms for food and warmer clothes. Yet Scar noticed that it was getting slightly warmer. Spring was on its way. Then they left. “So, how are we going to get home?” “We have to find a room with a door on it.” She spoke as she felt the key around her neck. When did I put that on ? She wondered as they walked away. Beatrice and Britannia wrapped their arms around Scar. “Are you alright?” “You look thin.” “She always looks thin!” She looked down, suddenly feeling Morana’s glare. “I think we need to find the room before we think about my weight. Sooner we get home sooner we can get a good wash.” “True.” “Hold on, you didn’t answer us!” “I’m alright. I just want to get out of here.” She said, forcing a smile on her face. “Yeah.” “Me too.” “So, is there...

The Nine Dragons The Life Dragon Final Part

A True Paradise  When Loc woke, she looked all around to see that all of the survivors were breaking the trees apart. She slowly rolled onto her stomach and pushed herself off the ground. Only for her to fall back down. She noticed that she was weak and needed a proper rest but she forced herself to push on and drove her body back up again. She knelt forward this time and forced herself on her feet. She walked to them, her body swaying like a snake or fish. Yet she kept her eyes on the people. Then she looked at the trees. “Are you alright?” “Should you be on your feet right now?” “Doesn’t matter.” She said, still looking at the trunks. If only I had Rock and Stone. I would be able to smash through this very easily… She thought to herself. Yet she looked at herself and them and suddenly wasn’t so sure. “Look around to find something that may help.” She suggested. They all looked at her with a frown. Then they looked at each other and shrugged. “Can’t hurt to help.” “Why would...

The Nine Dragons The Life Dragon Part Twenty-Three

Death Of The Life Dragon  They barely had too much time to rest when she saw Paradtopia ahead of them. Her eyes gazed upon the woman, already marking her as her prey. She knew that none else would be important. This caused her stomach to drop as she knew that she would kill all that got in her way. Which meant that she would have to fight this one alone or it would lead to more needless deaths in her life.  That was when the leader of the kingdom placed a hand upon her shoulder. He then gave her a stern look. She knew what this meant, even though she did not like it. Yet she had no time to complain or plea. However, she could tell that all of them would agree that they all knew and they all agreed that even if this would lead to their deaths then it would all be worth it. So she looked up as the army all charged at the dragon. So she did too. She ran and ran and ran. She found herself at the front, running faster and longer than the rest out of sheer determination. Then ...

The Nine Dragons The Life Dragon Part Twenty-Two

The Victory  That was when she looked at the three. She looked down for a moment. What do I do? What do I do? What do I do? What do I do? She thought as she looked around. “Quick! Divide into six groups! One for each general, one group for offence and defense!” She shouted. They looked back at her for a moment. “Don’t look back!” They nodded and charged on. Then the six wings shot arrows at them. The Defence polled the Offense out of the way. The two shot at them. Then all dived out of the way causing a donut shape. The top of the donut as the spier returned to his hand. The one on the fake fairy ran on and on. She flung daggers the size of half a man at them. Defence kept Offense out of the way as they met the feet of the general at the same time. Six wings raised his foot and as his foot collided with the people below Offence pointed their blades up and soon the foot retracted with knives and makeshift weapons in the soles, piercing through the straw. They charged on and st...

The Nine Dragons The Life Dragon Part Twenty-One

The Generals Strike The moment that she arrived at the top of the stairs she was flung across the side. She rolled up the wall as she collided with it. The next thing she heard was the yellow and cracking like someone was breaking wood. Then the women screamed. When she landed she looked up to see the red pool on the ground. She looked to the side to see men and women with bones, limbs and necks sticking out in odd places. Yet their flesh was already turning purple. She looked ahead to see a two winged fakegel however he was larger and had six digits on both hands and feet. He was dressed in cream robes and his large feet were covered with large straw sandals. His eyes were filled with arrogance and fury. He held a spier in his hands the size of a tall man. Then she saw the next one. He had six wings and was larger then the first. The last looked like a tall, slender and beautiful woman. Her wings and robes were deep crimson with high cheekbones and wore orange eyeshadow over her ...

The Nine Dragons The Life Dragon Part Twenty

Destruction Of The Pools It was early the next day when they were able to set off.  “Tell me, why did you not fight in that last battle?” Asked one. “I told her not to.” “Why?” “Because you needed to know that you could do it on your own. After all, I may not always be here to sort out all your problems, you have to learn that on your own. I am not going to be another Paradtopia. I’m here to help set you free from Paradtopia.” The man nodded. “Then after all of this is done, do you expect us to do all the work to heal our land?” “I will help you as much as I can, but I will be leaving as soon as I can. I do need to take down the final two dragons.” He nodded. “Then we will help.” She looked at them in horror. No. Not again! “And don’t think that this is on you. I heard about the last two and their size and the size of their armies. And, if they are to be believed, even with a grain of salt, you need all the help that you can get!” She looked at him, shocked. He had blue eyes ...

The Nine Dragons The Life Dragon Part Nineteen

Victory Of The People  It was in the afternoon when they all knew that the last division of the last army of Paradtopia. Loc was well rested and was about to collect her things to fight when the leader of the city came up to her. He had a stern but compassionate look in his eyes. “I ask you not to fight. For I would like for you to observe the battle ahead.” “Why?” She scoffed as she got up in a huff. He, patiently, raised his hand to her. “Simple this is our world, our land and we need to fight for ourselves.” She frowned deeply. “What? That’s the reason? I will fight! After all, until I find a piece of one of the Reality Spheres, this will be my world, just as much as it is yours!” He grabbed her by the cuff of her shirt. “No. If you want to help, keep the fire down! And once you witness all that happens during the fight, then you will understand, alright?” She looked to the side. “Alright, but the moment that someone dies, I’m stepping in. Alright?” “Deal.” So they all w...
