 Battle For The Women Bash looked out at the river as the swamp lands almost flew by. It had been over a month now and the only thing of note was the quests that they had all been on. So she was feeling slightly anxious. She wanted to get to Animéga already but they knew that they had to take the scenic route. She soon arrived at the first town Wopay. It looked like the other swamp town but the people here had bright and light green skin and dark green eyes and hair. The women were all covered yet the men were barely wearing anything at all. All had dead sunken eyes. The women looked at her and Strena with dismay, jellacy and shame. The men looked at them with hunger and hope in their eyes. They saw that it was night and they all were very tired and they could feel their bodies needed a break from the water.  The Swamp Town It had been three days since they left the dwarf mine when they arrived at a swamp. They walked down a path and soon came to a town made of wooden and clay huts and buildings with straw rooms all without windows. The people walked to and fro, all of them pale and hollow eyes and dangerously thin. To the right was an empty tower that had bare floors and a circular thatched roof. “Why are we here?” “We need to get to Animéga so we need to travel on the water and taking a public ship will be too risky. So we’re going across the rivers that lead close to there.” She nodded as they reached a doc. There was a bony man with hollow eyes and an aged look on his face.  The Old Mine They had been on the road for three months without anything happening. Yet Bash, Chashathrophogh and Cerpheres could sense that Dark Lord Gajellidor Darcrogh was still in Animéga. Yet they could not place as to why he had not left. The troubling thing was; they were all low on money and the pale trio had just finished the last of their sun protection potion. Fortunately, they were getting close to the Swamp Lands at the end of the Mideast continent.  The Quest On The Road They were all walking on the road, they had been for a long time and at a fast pace. They had all found out that they had lost time and Bash, Chashathrophogh and Cerpheres could feel that Dark Lord Gajellidor Darcrogh and Dark Lady Grasharlo were on the move in Animéga. So they all knew that they had to move faster to make up for the lost time. Yet, as they did, they saw a quest signpost. Strena caught a glimpse of quests one of which caught her eye.  The Official License  Strena and the rest were walking for hours and hours until the sun had come down when they arrived at a modest building. It had two floors and was painted in purple and gold. It had a small set of double doors. Chashathrophogh looked up and around the building as Strena looked at the windows. She noticed that there were some that were bricked up but others were not. She looked up at the upper window and looked at the bottom ones. At the top was one rectangle horizontally, one square, another rectangle. There was a diamond after.  The Painting They all looked up at a large box. It was jet black, just like the rest of the walls of the chamber, almost like it was made of black glass and the whole room was littered by those glowing mushrooms. The box itself was black metal and covered with many black precious crystals and gemstones. In the centre was a padlock, also black. “Tell me-” Cerpheres darted to the lock and looked in the hole. It seems to be riddled with spikes, I assume that they have many nasty little things hidden in them to kill us.  The Temple’s Traps After spending time in the shade Chashathrophogh stood up and looked at the group. “Right, time to get into the temple. So what should you do during this time?” “Look for the way in?” He looked at Cerpheres, deadpan. “What!” “Access the temple door. It seems to have no doorknobs. She would have huffed at noticing very quickly that it was a dead end, until she saw the waves that she recognized engraved into the doors.  Journey To The Temple  As it was night, they all decided to spend the night in the tavern. Yet, she too, now had that desire. She too wanted to know what was beyond the veil of nothingness that came before.  The Quest Board  Strena had just finished writing about all of Bash’s bounty hunts when she was approached by Chashathrophogh. She felt her stomach drop slightly yet she could strangely feel her heat increase as she tried not to look directly at him. Nor did she want to focus upon his handsome features.
